Travel Vaccinations

global air travel

If you are planning any foreign travel do your homework and take a few simple precautions to keep yourself, and your family, safe whilst travelling abroad.

Your first stop should be Fit For Travel to gain a better understanding of the area(s) you're travelling to and the potential risks

If you think you may require vaccinations, you will need to complete our Travel Risk Assessment form The complete every section as fully as possible.

Please ensure this is returned to the practice at least 8 weeks before your travel date. On return of the form our Receptionists will book an appointment with the Nurse to discuss your travel requirements.

At busy times we may direct you to other travel clinic providers to ensure you receive the travel advice and any medication in time for your trip.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. For more information of the fees contact reception..
