MEDICAL SECRETARY (Part-Time) Temporary contract
We are looking for a cheerful, efficient and enthusiastic individual to work within our busy secretarial department.
The secretarial department forms a key part of the practice so the ability to audio-type quickly and accurately, remain calm under pressure and think on your feet is essential. No experience is necessary but typing skills, medical terminology and previous experience of working in a GP surgery would be an advantage.
Duties will include:
•Liaising with medical colleagues via email and telephone
•Receiving, assisting and directing patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
•Organising specialist clinics
•Good attention to detail and ability to adapt to all situations with ease
•Great team player
•Work independently and ability use own initiative
Salary dependent on experience.
