PRACTICE NURSE VACANCY (full-time or 2x Part-time)

Due to planned retirement, Banchory Group Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, highly-motivated Practice Nurse to join our modern, forward thinking Team in providing high quality care to our patients.

We are a large town practice with over 12,500 patients. Our multi-disciplinary team comprises of twelve GPs, a practice pharmacist, practice nurses and complementing staff, and we have close working relationships with our community and social work colleagues.

Applicants should be registered with the NMC, ideally with acute and chronic disease experience, especially Respiratory. Experience of dealing with minor ailments/illness would be advantageous. Independent Prescriber status would be desirable but the practice would support training in this regard if required. Applicants should be able to work autonomously with a commitment to continued professional development.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk. The successful candidate will benefit from inclusion in the practice indemnity scheme.

Salary commensurate with experience.
